This stage winds its way through the Bugey region between the majestic Rhône, the Grand Colombier massif and the Lavours marshes.
Further south, from the plains of the Haut-Rhône to the mountains, via the vineyards, the Izieu area offers a variety of landscapes bathed in a light appreciated by nature lovers.
Greenways and small roads along the Rhône are on the program for this stage, with a passage over a dedicated footbridge spanning the old Rhône between the Ain and Savoie regions.
In Champagneux, you'll find a signposted "Galletti loop". It will take you to discover the pioneer of wireless telegraphy!
The tourist information office and Louis Mandrin's lair in Saint Genix-Sur-Guiers, as well as several accommodations and restaurants, have been awarded the "Accueil Vélo" label, so don't hesitate to drop in.
