A guided tour of Le Grand-Bornand takes visitors on a journey through the various themes of the village, to understand how a mountain village was organized before the 20th century.
Le Grand-Bornand is a commune in the Haute-Savoie region of France. Founded at the end of the medieval period, it developed around agropastoral activities until the 19th century. From the mid-20th century onwards, the village diversified its economy with winter tourism and skiing.
The tour begins with a general introduction to the village's geographical location. Students are then guided through the streets of Le Grand-Bornand, gradually discovering the history of the village and its evolution over the centuries.
