You'll love these sun-soaked terraces facing the famous peaks. Enjoy
breathtaking views of the landscape falling away below you as you go
up in the chairlifts.
Here's a taste of the Vanoise glacier tour!
As soon as you set foot on this neatly terraced GRP® hike, your eyes are
irresistibly drawn to the endless ridges that climb up up to Pointe de Bellecôte,
on the Mont Froid. And if the weather goes your way, you might even spot the
Meije, the Aiguilles d'Arves and the Écrins majestically rising up on the horizon.
Enough daydreaming?! The bleating of the herds echoes all through the
alpine pasture.
And when you get to La Turra, who knows what you'll find in the sky? The
cliffs here are highly prized by aerial sports enthusiasts due to the very unique
updraft of warm air they produce. Birds of prey and bearded vultures also
delight in this exceptional "thermal" all year round. Impossible to say which
of these flying creatures will show up today...
And if you have the privilege of being led by a mountain guide, don't miss
your chance to fully take in the magic of the place: head over to the "moon
hole", a remarkable rocky arch, to admire the view of the Râteau d’Aussois.
