In Les Issambres, Handiplage has been open since 2016 on the main San Peïre beach (level 3 buoys out of 4). Dedicated equipment and staff are trained to make bathing easier.

Since 2016, volunteer municipal agents actively participate in this solidarity welcome by carrying out the transfers of people with disabilities or people with difficulties in moving.

The beach of San Peïre is the main beach in the heart of Les Issambres. It is a fine sandy beach and extends over a length of 300 meters. Easy to access, a parking lot is located nearby, as well as several restaurants and shops.
