It is at the foot of the Pointe Noire de Pormenaz that the lake of the same name is nestled. Its small isles throne in the middle of a water of exceptional clarity. The view of the Aiguilles Rouges massif on one side and the Fiz chain on the other, is no less so.
The lake is home to an interesting population of fario trout, among which are some beautiful subjects, as well as a population of Arctic char. Since 2009, the lake is only alevine in fario trout.
Course of first category.
Fishing in nature reserve: please respect the regulations. Bivouac allowed from sunset to sunrise.
