Roizonne is a special river made from one Vaunoire torrent that disappears underground and is renamed as Roizonne when it gets out.

The Vaunoire torrent springs in Grand Armet Glacier, 2200m high, and collects small meltwater or regular streams running down from Taillefer, Armet and Tabor ranges.

When it is a little bit dried up, the river disappears into the ground and gets out a little further under Roizonne name. This resurgence is a little before Lavaldens village, after the "rocky rock" as it is called.
