Snowshoeing itinerary : à travers les alpages

From the Pont de Morgon, go up the road along the river without crossing it. It gives way to a track that goes into the forest and leads to a crossroads (La Coutettaz).

Turn right to go up an open space, facing the Dent d'Oche. The itinerary crosses the torrent and climbs to the right as far as the chalets de la Bonne Eau.

After the buildings, go up to the left, directly on the slope in a gap. The slope rises again before arriving at a horizontal track which you must take to the right.

Follow it to the Tirou chalets, from where you have a very clear view. Go down to the right into a hollow lined with woods. Look out for the markings to find the place where you enter the forest, pass a chalet and go down to a track. Turn right and at the level of an isolated chalet, go down to the left to join the hamlet of Malpasset and its typical houses.

Take the road to the right until you reach a footbridge over the Ugine.

Cross the bridge and take the track that descends following the torrent that cascades along the path, offering amazing landscapes. At La Chevrette, turn right to find the Morgon bridge.
