Hôtel Thomé

This 16th-century house was first owned by Claude Thomé, a Roman nobleman,

Judge of the City of Romans, then Consul. He welcomed King François I on his visit to Romans in 1533.

Accessible on guided tours

This house features a Renaissance facade, with 2 floors adorned with Twin Mullioned Windows.

The first floor is punctuated by 4 boutique arches.

The door opens onto a gallery covered by a vault reinforced by mullioned ribs.

Each one rests on "culots" richly decorated with mermaids, angels, boars...

This gallery leads to a small inner courtyard.

One corner features a 4-storey Flamboyant Gothic turret, lit by mullioned windows.
