Between forest and snow-covered meadows, the cross-country ski trails will take you through unspoilt countryside.

A few ideas for outings on Courchevel's Nordic ski slopes:

FROM COURCHEVEL 1850

Start at the foot of rue de Plantret.

- Le Bouc Blanc (blue): round trip in the forest (5 km / 200m ascent).

Watch out for ski slope crossings!

- Courchevel 1850 / Méribel Altiport (red): an out-and-back tour, between forest and valley views, taking in the Méribel valley (15 km / 450m ascent).

Beware of crossing ski slopes!

- Courchevel 1850 / La Tania (red): forest trail to La Tania (14 km / 400m ascent).

This trail is shared with pedestrians. Watch out for ski slope crossings!

FROM COURCHEVEL 1850

Departure from the top of the Chenus gondola.

- Col de la Loze loop (blue): the trail winds through moraines at the foot of the Rocher de la Loze couloirs (3 km / 150m ascent).

Free access, but a lift pass is required to use the Chenus gondola. This trail is the highest Nordic trail in the Alps (altitude 2300 m).

FROM COURCHEVEL MORIOND

Departure from the top of the Route du Belvédère, at the level of the Granges ski lift.

- Belvedere loop (red): easy, sunny loop passing near the Pralin farms and via the Chemin des Avals (4.5 km / 130m).

FROM COURCHEVEL VILLAGE

Start 150 m after the Dou du Midi parking lot, after the antenna, downstream of the route des Brigues.

- Les Brigues / Chantery (blue): round trip through the forest to the mythical Eclipse ski run (5 km / 200m ascent).

Beware of crossing ski slopes!

FROM COURCHEVEL LE PRAZ

Depart from the Alpinium esplanade.

- Le Praz Nordic site (3 loops): this was the site of the 1992 Olympic Games, where Fabrice Guy and Sylvain Guillaume won gold and silver medals in the Nordic combined. 3 loops of 1.5 km (green), 5 km (red) and 7 km (black).

FROM COURCHEVEL LA TANIA

Start from the Circuit des Teppes (top of route de Jilliard) or from the ball trap (route de Praz Juget towards Les Allues).

- Courchevel La Tania / Méribel (red): round-trip excursion, between forest and open valley views, taking in the Méribel valley (15 km / 400m ascent).

Beware of crossing ski slopes!
