Festival de théâtre- état sauvage
Event date
Wednesday 15 July 2026 between 6 pm and 7.30 pm.
Let yourself be transported by the magic of the theater - a unique play for an unforgettable evening.
Some pieces are for viewing. And there are others that you experience. État Sauvage falls into the latter category. The Compagnie T'à Part invites you to an extraordinary theatrical experience, based on a text by Stéphane Jaubertie and directed with formidable precision by Thierry Le Goff and Marc Baijot.
Two characters. An enclosed space. And outside, a world in turmoil.
In this cruel and burlesque universe, landmarks are gradually disappearing. The rules that civilization has handed down to us - order, decorum, restraint - crack under the pressure of something older, rawer, more animal. What we took for granted is no longer so. What we thought we had mastered escapes us.
By turns absurd, funny and deeply disturbing, the two protagonists lead us in a troubling dance in which we no longer quite know who dominates, who suffers, who plays and who gives in. Order and chaos clash mercilessly, and each scene pushes back the limits of what we are prepared to accept - both on stage and within ourselves.
Stéphane Jaubertie has written a searingly modern text that questions our relationship with norms, authority and the most primitive instincts. On stage, bodies and words collide with a rare intensity, creating a human fresco as disturbing as it is mesmerizing, where laughter springs up where we least expect it - and unease settles in where we thought we were safe.
To see État Sauvage is to accept being jostled, destabilized and challenged. It means agreeing to face up to what we usually prefer to ignore. For the duration of a performance, it means experiencing something unique and unforgettable.
