This course is ideal for history enthusiasts as well as those who simply wish to stroll and appreciate the beauty of their environment.

Departure from the belvedere St Romain, cross the park and go down behind the Théâtre de la Presle. Cross the parking lot to go down a few meters the "Quai Sainte-Claire".

Turn left between the buildings and exit 'Côte des Masses'.

Go up on the right then take on the left the street that comes 'Place de l'éperon'. Turn right to go to street "Marc Antoine Jullien de la Drôme".

At the end of the street, continue in front of you and go up the "Cours Pierre Didier", the "Place Jean Jaurès" to the Europe roundabout.

Go down to the right (at the corner of the building le Vendôme), the large steps, cross in front of you, go down to pass in front of the main entrance of the Museum, then on the right the "Rue St-Just".

At the end of the building that houses the museum, turn right into "Rue Sainte-Marie". Pass in front of the Monastery of Saint Claire. Turn and go up the 'rue du Capitaine Bozambo' by passing along the 'Champ de Mars', then opposite down the 'Côte St Ursule' and to the right up the 'Place Charles de Gaulle'.

Admire the "Jacquemart tower". After the tower (at the beginning of Place Jacquemart) on your right "Notre Dame des Champs".

Turn left 'Place Ancienne Bouverie'. At the end of this square, turn right 'Rue Jean Jacques Rousseau', then left 'La Côte Bonnot'.

Arrival "Place Macel", go up to the right "la Côte Macel" and then down to the left "rue de l'épaule".

Take again to the left "la Côte des Crottes" which leads to "Rue du Fuseau".

Follow this street while returning to the left, pass in front of "la Maison du Mouton", "La Maison Commune" to arrive at the intersection with "la Côte des Cordeliers".

Turn right and then left, cross "Place Jules Nadi", admire the kiosuqe and at the back of the square, the Salle des Cordeliers (Military Circle).

To the right of the square, the former Banque de France. Bypass the Salle des Cordeliers on the right. Continue straight on "la rue Mandrin", go down to the right "la rue St Antoine" and then left the "rue du Chapître" and "Place du Chapitre".

At the end of this last one, go down to the right "rue Bistour" then the 2nd on the left the street "ST Nicolas". At the roundabout, cross across to join the street "Etienne Dolet". Walk a few meters and cross again to continue still on the "rue Etienne Dolet".

At the crow’s-foot, turn right into "rue Francis Chirat" then go up the "rue Prosper Merimée" on the left, before turning right into "Avenue Château Fleury".

At the intersection, turn right onto "Chemin de l'Arnaud", continue straight ahead then pass in front of the convent of L'Arnaud (Ehpad) and continue to the "Pont des Allobroges".

Under the bridge, turn right onto the greenway of l'Arnaud (Belle Via), along the Isère to return towards the center of Romans.

Continue along the 'Chemin des Boeufs'. Pass by the 'Parc Edith Piaf'.

At the junction with "Quai Chopin" continue to the left on this last one. Pass under "le Pont Neuf", continue and pass in front of the Chaussure Poisson (on your left). Go a few meters and on your right take the 'rue Merlin' and then turn left onto the 'rue des 3 Carreaux'.

Pass in front of "l'hôtel de Clérieu" on the right. Arrival on the "Place Maurice Faure", cross it along the length, turn left to admire "the Collégiale St Barnard".

Take the "Rue Pêcherie" (facing the main entrance of the Collégiale), pass in front of the fountain "Puits-du-Cheval", continue until you find on your left "Escalier Josaphat".

Go down this staircase, cross the "Quai Sainte-Claire", "la Savasse" and enter the park through the ramparts. Cross the 'Parc François Mitterrand' to return to the starting point and enjoy the view of the 'Belvédère St Romain'.
