Ask your calves for a little more effort and you're on the road above. You're now pedaling at a leisurely pace, overlooking Aix-les-Bains, which stretches nonchalantly down to Lac du Bourget. Take advantage of the steady rhythm of your pedaling to admire the restful view of this immense expanse of water. Once you've reached the charming village of Grésy, you'll begin a gentle descent into the Corsuet forest. There's no need to slam on the brakes, just glide down into the pleasant shade of the tall trees. Then the lake and its boats reappear in the landscape.
