Sailing for all !
Sailboats has been selected and adapted to address the different types of disabilities.
The courses are led by instructors Brevet d'Etat ( BEES1 ) with Certificate of Qualification Para ( HSCs ) .
The activity starts at the Port de Sciez (not at the Base Nautique).
The bus will be able to park just in front of the boat launch to make it easier for the bus to get off and for people to board the boats. It can then park in the secure trailer parking area, 150 metres from the port (contact the Sciez Port Authority).
2 monitors may be available. 1 in each boat.
As the people get off the bus, they will head for the gallows, and the monitors (assisted by the attendants) will transfer them to the boats.
It takes about 10 minutes per person. It will take a maximum of 1 hour to set up the activity and the same for the end. And 2 hours of activity.
Depending on the size of the group, a whole morning or afternoon can be considered. Or, one session in the morning and another in the afternoon.
