Via ferrata d'Avoriaz "Le Saix du Tour"

After a short approach walk of a few minutes, the route begins with an easy little climb, followed by a traverse with feet on a narrow ledge. Then, the descent of "l'Emotion" can already provoke some sensations... A short traverse precedes an oblique ascent followed by a small vertical wall. Next, we cross at the foot of the steep passage of the route: "Le Passage du Génépi". A short earthy climb and then a nice comfortable traverse lead to another earthy climb that gives access to the "Grotte des Ardoisiers". Then, the "Passage du Berger" is a comfortable ledge that we follow to a beautiful rocky overhang: "Le balcon du lac". We then traverse an oblique ascent through a fairly steep rocky area: "La Traversée du Bénitier". A series of ledges then gives access to a very nice horizontal traverse followed by a characteristic angle: "Le Passage du Rasoir". We climb just behind a beautiful small dihedral and reach the summit of the Saix du Tour ridge via a steep grassy slope, first traversing, then directly. The descent takes about thirty minutes along the ridge and then along a trail.
