Courchevel has a rich natural heritage, with its crystal waters, lush forests and views over the arc of the Alps. Spend the day at la Rosière nature site, with its Natura 2000 classified forest, take a hike to a high-altitude lake or a breathtaking viewpoint. During your holiday, you can discover different landscapes and atmospheres every day! The Vanoise National Park, with its mountain pastures full of marmots, protected flowers and high altitude lakes, is the ideal location. You can also hike to many other lakes located outside the Park, some of which which are perfect places for a picnic or some afternoon fishing.

Lacs Merlet

The lower and upper Merlet lakes are located on the edge of the Vanoise National Park. The upper Merlet lake is fed by the snow melt in spring and by the waters of a rocky glacier located at the foot of the Aiguille du Fruit.

Lac de la Rosière

At the bottom of Les Avals valley, Le Lac de la Rosière is the departure for many walking path. A via ferrata for beginners is available.

Lac Bleu

The Blue Lake is located at an altitude of nearly 2000m and overlooks the Courchevel Valley. You may have the chance to observe flying trout.

A lake located at an altitude of almost 2300 meters with a view of the Vanoise summits, at the foot of the Aiguille du Fruit.

Point de vue de La Saulire

In Courchevel, the Verdons - Saulire - axis is know to all. It is used to take sliers and the contemplative to the top of the ski area, at an elevation of 2738 metres.

Point de vue Mont Bel Air

Soar high over Courchevel Moriond by taking the cable car from Ariondaz and enjoy the view offered by the Bel Air.

Point de vue Col de la Loze

From La Tania take the cable car then the chairlift Dou des Lanches to the top of the col. From there you have a breathtaking view, one of the best vantage points in the Tarentaise Valley.

Forêt de la Dent du Villard

The forest of the Dent du Villard is crossed by many paths and its summit offers a magnificent view on the Vanoise. There is a pine forest of hooked pines on gypsum very rare in Europe.
