The Tourism & Handicap label
Created in 2003, the tourism and disability label is the only global certification dedicated to tourism accessibility for people with disabilities.
The Tourism & Handicap label is a national mark that values tourist establishments committed to exemplary accessibility practices. It guarantees visitors with disabilities reliable, consistent, and verified information about conditions of welcome, while supporting professionals in the continuous improvement of their services.
An official reference for accessible tourism for all
Recognized by public authorities, the label identifies structures capable of providing an experience adapted to the needs of people with one of the following four types of disabilities:
· Motor disability
· Visual disability
· Hearing disability
· Mental / cognitive disability
Each establishment can be labeled for one or more of these disabilities, depending on its level of accessibility.
