Efficient video surveillance throughout the resort
Courchevel has a network of video surveillance comprising 225 camerasacross the entire municipal territory, from Saint-Bon to the Altiport, including the different villages of the resort.
Connected to the Central Supervision Post (CSP), they contribute to the security of public spaces, facilitate interventions by field teams, support the management of large events, and assist in judicial investigations when necessary.
The network is regularly updated with the deployment of new cameras in strategic areas, to continuously adapt the system to the needs of the resort.

A municipal police force mobilized year-round
Present all year and strengthened during tourist seasons, the municipal police ensure a daily presence throughout the resort.
On a daily basis, officers ensure:
safety of people and property;
traffic and parking management;
public assistance;
event security;
prevention of nuisances;
respect for public tranquility and sanitation.
As part of its road safety missions, the municipal police regularly conduct checks aimed at ensuring the safety of all road users. Particular attention is also paid to the movement of construction vehicles to ensure the safety of all users.

Opening hours
In winter: daily from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.
In interseason and summer: Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The gendarmerie is also mobilized during the winter season
In the winter period, the National Gendarmerie strengthens the resort's security system with an operational presence in Courchevel 1850 from December to April. It operates in addition to the municipal police, in coordination with all security services.
