This art center aims to offer a new approach to contemporary art and to introduce present art production to a wider public. All visits of the exhibitions are explained. Mediators may offer workshops special visits as well as activities on contemporary art
Housed in 4 vaulted stone rooms, the Centre d'art bastille aims to offer a new approach to contemporary art and to bring current artistic production to a wide audience.
The Cab makes accessibility to contemporary art its priority. It hosts a relevant program of major works by recognized artists.
The Cab offers guided tours of its exhibitions, as well as workshops, guided tours and other activities around contemporary art, led by the site's mediators.
What's more, the Cab is located in a major heritage site: the Fort de la Bastille, a major tourist attraction in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region.
