The shoe museum outside the walls.

Inspired by emblematic models on display at the Musée de la Chaussure, these works pay tribute to the creativity and technique of great shoemakers such as Roger Vivier, Stephane Kelian and Charles Jourdan...

Jean-Luc Tamisier and Sylvie Favel, commissioned by the city, are responsible for this urban scenography and the design of the pedestals.

Women's shoe in black kid suede, neckline with kid suede bow. The pump is in its red "Jourdan" version.

This shoe is inspired by Charles Jourdan's 1963 creation.

This pump is an emblematic shoe of the 1960s and of Charles Jourdan. With its pointed toe and Louis XV stiletto heel, it testifies to the elegance and expertise of the company, which has been based in Romans since 1921. Now an international leader in luxury footwear, its collaboration with Christian Dior confirmed its reputation. Charles Jourdan and his sons succeeded in adapting the company to changing fashion trends. Closed in 2007, Charles Jourdan's history and expertise remain closely linked to the town of Romans and its inhabitants.
