Nice edifice from the military constructions periods at the end of the 19th century. The fort was built in 1887. It was called "Gribeauval battery".
This is a typical construction of that period . Only the structure remains, invaded by vegetation. The construction is surrounded by deep ditches that could be crossed thanksto a drawbridge, now demolished.
