The Parcours Cyclable du Littoral Six-Fours/St-Raphaël (V65 of the Schéma National des Véloroutes et Voies Vertes) allows you to cover part of the Var coastline by the coast or inland, following the route of the old Provence railway.

Crossing the commune of Hyères is one of the highlights of the V65, as it is largely free of urbanization and its constraints, while allowing you to appreciate unique landscapes, such as the "double tombolo" of Almanarre linking the Presqu'île de Giens, which you'll see along the way.

For those wishing to start the V65 route from Hyères, we recommend using the large free parking lot at the Olbia archaeological site, a heritage site open to visitors. Alternatively, another parking lot is available at the "Relais Arromanches".

The key points on this stage are as follows, most of them equipped with the "Borne Easy TPM" information system:

- Olbia archaeological site (terminal no. 14)

- The double tombolo at Hyères (terminal no. 15)

- Le Salin des Pesquiers (terminal no. 16); to be discovered on the "Route du Sel" (cf. "V65 -détour : Hyères/Olbia > Tour Fondue")

- The port of Hyères and the Ceinturon (milestone no. 17)

- L'ayguade (milestone no. 18)

- Port Pothuau and the old Hyères salt works (milestone no. 19)

Note that there is a bicycle repair shop at the port of Hyères, along the cycle route (see "Amotos").
