"L'Oratoire des Pas" Hike

Nature and Heritage:

The GR5 hiking trails starts at the North Sea (Bergen op Zoom) and ends in Nice by the Mediterranean in France. It covers a total of 2600km. It goes through the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France crossing the Vosges and Jura where it continues into Switzerland to Lake Geneva then back to France travelling north to south from the Swiss Alps to the Mediterranean.

Route details:

Set off from the church in Reyvroz along the street in front of the church. Follow the GR5 and its red and white markings. Continue straight on when you see signs for the Oratoire des Pas. Go for a pleasant walk in the shade of the beech trees and spruces for half an hour until you reach the Oratoire des Pas. After a while, you’ll see the scenic Bas Chablais through gaps in the trees. Go back along the same path to reach your starting point.
