EL Chente draws its musical inspiration from the rhythms of Afro-Caribbean sounds. With his love of joyful melodies and the groove of a round, lively sound, his DJ sets represent an endless crossing of the Atlantic Ocean between Africa and South America, via the Caribbean and the West Indies, with a detour to Cape Verde!
This passionate "Global Digger" makes his selections from the musical discoveries of his many travels, from a chill ambience to a warm dancefloor, EL Chente perfectly masters the alternation between authentic, traditional rhythms and more electronically-influenced mixes.
