These oratories of the Rosary are situated all along the main road (RN), before entering Megève, and lead to the Cretets Chapel.
On the main road to Sallanches, these oratories are dedicated to the 15 mysteries of the Rosary and lead to the Cretets Chapel. They were erected in 1740 and renovated in the 1980s. They form the route used for the procession on Rogation Tuesday - a religious ritual to ask for God's blessing on the produce of the land and animals. Note that Megève and the Contamines Montjoie (at Notre Dame de la Gorge) are the only villages in Haute-Savoie to have such a series of oratories.
