Discovering the Château de Gallois Regard

This day at the château de Gallois Regard is specially designed for kindergartners.

An enriching experience adapted to the pace of little ones, divided into two parts:

- Morning: guided tour of the château and independent workshops

- Afternoon: treasure hunt around the castle

The morning begins with a visit to "Le château à petit pas", a sensory exploration of the Gallois Regard residence, with the emphasis on play and interactivity.

Three workshops will punctuate the visit, enabling your pupils to discover the materials used in the castle's construction, recognize the spices characteristic of the period, and explore the sounds of medieval musical instruments.

Two independent workshops await young explorers: "Build your own castle" and animated films.

In the "Build your castle" workshop, your pupils will be tasked with using building blocks to create a replica of a castle, an emblematic piece of medieval architecture.

As for the "Animated films" workshop, the "1001 Moyen Âge" series will offer them short films exploring various aspects of the medieval period, such as architecture, daily life and the seigniorial court.

The afternoon will take a playful turn with a treasure hunt entitled "Au voleur". This will give children a whole new perspective on the castle's exterior.

Who stole the chest containing Gallois Regard's treasure?

Outside the château, on the esplanade, your pupils will lead a Cluedo-style investigation. Using clue puzzles, they'll uncover photos and portraits that will lead them to the culprit and the crime scene.
