The workshop is a fun and active way to discover the construction secrets of Bornand houses and their roofs, using wooden models.
The workshop takes place in several stages: reflection on the choice of building site for a house, presentation of woodworking from the forest to the plank, assembly of a model house by the whole group, assembly of roofing models in small groups, observation and time for sharing. The workshop mobilizes observation and logical thinking, develops teamwork and cooperation, and raises children's awareness of human adaptation to natural environments.
