1100 metres high, overlooked by the Chartreuse ridge, the Col de Marcieu resort offers superb views over the Grésivaudan valley. It is mostly dedicated to nordic skiing but also has a few alpine pistes, a snowtubing slope (for coasting downhill on a large inflated inner-tube) and of course snowshoeing and sledging are available too. Insider tip: the resort provides a multiactivity pass allowing you access all these different delights.
Everything is at your fingertips here, the pistes start from the village and you can even watch your young ones learn how to ski as you enjoy a hot chocolate in the sun. Skiing lessons and children’s activities are indeed a speciality at Col de Marcieu: the children’s area has everything for them to have fun and get acquainted to the snow.
