The monument symbolize the allies assistance to Ain and Haut Jura's Scrub in 1943 and 1944. In the middle of Echallon's meadow, rise up a 7m pyramid been on top of the Lorraine Cross. Overthere, had place guns and food supplies parachuting.

It was also a meeting place between scrubs of diferent camps of Ain and Jura and fighters of secret towns army. The monument was built with village 's houses stones destroyed by the occupant. There, Ashes of allies officers rest and a souvenirs' garden welcome ashes of old scrubs who wanted to base here.
