Le Biot Village

On the eastern flank of the Dranse river, Le Biot village is the administrative centre of Aulps valley. The village was one of the first to be built on the natural route taken by traders heading to Abondance valley over Corbier col.
A reminder of this former activity, Le Biot retains its covered hall in the centre of the village, a nod to its commercial past when everyone in the valley came for its fairs and markets.
Don’t forget to visit:
> Col du Corbier multi-activities resort (trail, nordic walk, Electric MTB, ski-touring...)
> the hiking circuit called “Le tour du Mont Ouzon”
> the Uncle Jacques mystery tour in the centre of the village
> the great Fleamarket (third Sunday in August).
