The Parcours Cyclable du Littoral Six-Fours/ST. Raphaël (V65 of the Véloroutes et Voies Vertes national cycle route scheme) allows you to cover a large part of the Var coastline via the coast or inland.

It follows the route of the old Provence railway line, crossing 20 communes.

To take this route is to discover the diversity of the landscape, the richness of the flora and an exceptional coastal area.

Over time, it has been extended with new developments. To date, 92 km of the 120 km have been developed on this route, including 77 km of exclusive right-of-way.

Check the state of the route by consulting the legend on the map of the chosen route.

The section of the Parcours Cyclable du Littoral, Pont de Suve/Pont de la Clue, crosses the commune of La Garde in an existing two-way exclusive right-of-way, over a length of 1.7 Km.

POINT OF DEPARTURE / ARRIVAL

- Pont de Suve (boundary with Toulon) : Boulevard l'Enseigne de Vaisseau Gues at Chemin Sainte Marguerite.

- Pont de la Clue (boundary with Le Pradet): Junction of avenues du Général Brosset, du Commandant Houot and Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny.

WATER POINT

- 1 water point is located halfway along this section, at the stadium.

RECOMMENDATIONS

- Helmets recommended

- Lights and horn are mandatory

- Ride in single file on the road

- Stop at red lights and stop signs.

- The coastal cycling route is above all dedicated to convivial cycling. Excessive speeds are not allowed, and everyone must respect the freedom of others to ride for the safety of all.

PRECISION

- Cycle path: a dedicated area reserved for two- or three-wheeled cycles, indicating to pedestrians and drivers of other vehicles that they are not allowed to use or stop on the path (with the exception of emergency vehicles, firefighters, police, service vehicles and, on certain stretches, authorized residents and moped riders). In the absence of sidewalks or passable shoulders, non-motorized users (pedestrians, rollerbladers, people with reduced mobility, etc.) must use the left-hand side of the roadway.

- Voie verte: a dedicated area reserved exclusively for non-motorized vehicles and pedestrians (with the exception of emergency vehicles, fire departments, police, service vehicles and, on certain sections, authorized residents and moped riders).

When the competent police authority also decides to authorize the circulation of horse riders, the sign is completed by the "M4y" sign designating horse riders.

- Shared site: lane shared by different users, whether motorized or not.

WHAT TO SEE, WHAT TO DO
