Small green loop that can reach Châtel, neither too long nor too difficult for beginners in trail.
From La Chapelle d'Abondance, take the La Panthiaz gondola to reach the summit of the gondola, the starting point of the route. In case of closure of the gondola, take the Rys road that leads to the top of the gondola (about 4km). You will start at the exit of the gondola of La Panthiaz by a warm-up on road on 1km. After arriving at the foot of the chairlift Braitaz, you will continue on a nice trail by the place called "Sevant Front", then "Sevant Behind". The forest path takes you to the culmination point of the Saix pass. Here, enjoy the panoramic view over the valley of Abondance, we can see the villages of Châtel, the Chapel of Abundance and Abundance.
