Abondance Abbey reveals its treasures and its history. Let yourself be seduced by the tranquility of this site, a medieval jewel unique in the Savoy region. Stroll through the cloister and its 15th-century murals, discover the fresco technique and the many sculptures adorning the galleries.
Explore the exhibition “De l'histoire à l'art : patrimoines sacrés en vallée d'Abondance” (From history to art: sacred heritage in the Abondance valley), housed in the former convent buildings, before ending your visit in the former orchard, which offers a breathtaking view of the monument's architecture.
During your visit, a QR code allows you to access the tour assistance site, where you can obtain audio guides and descriptions of the works of art directly on your smartphone. Available in French, English and German.
