Festival baroque de Tarentaise - The Kraken Consort

The Kraken Consort is made up of a theorbist open to all horizons, two opera singers accustomed to the world's opera stages, a double bassist sought after for her eclecticism, and four internationally-renowned pillars of traditional music.

With no stylistic preconceptions and drawing on the experience of each member, the group invites us to a festive evening on Celtic soil.

Sharing a taste for Irish, Scottish and Breton traditional music, the eight artists of the Kraken Consort combine their respective visions to build their own sound and identity, stone by stone. The CD 'O'er the Moor' was released in February 2024.
