The Mont du Chat is France's steepest 10 km (9.9%) and a must for cyclogrimpists! The reward at the summit is a breathtaking view of Lac du Bourget and Mont Blanc.
After this relentless ascent, it's possible to continue a loop on the west side before returning to Lac du Bourget via the short Col du Chat or the tunnel gallery.
This ascent totals 1230 points on a squared grading scale.
