Besides being a choice spot for strollers alongside San Peïre beach, the Promenade is the site of a Monday morning market as well as a bric-a-brac market (private and professional sellers) on Fridays between April and October, and a night market during the summer season.

Adrien Beaumont (1894-1986) is the man behind the creation and development of Les Issambres during the 1950s. His desire to develop residential lots that blended harmoniously into the natural surroundings is echoed to perfection in his famous motto: “A house in a garden, a garden in a park.”
