Trail circuit 42 blue - Lac d'Arvouin

From La Chapelle d'Abondance, take the La Panthiaz gondola to join the beginning of the route. In case of closure of the gondola, take the Rys road to the top of the gondola (about 4km). From the top of the gondola La Panthiaz, you will start on a paved road for 1.5km then on a path by the place called "Sevant Levant". The trail continues through Sevant Behind, from where a magnificent view of Mount Heated is proposed to you. The route continues through a forest road to Lake Arvouin. This lake is a jewel of the corner, a natural lake that is actually a glacial lock, the remains of the ancient glacier valley. After this panoramic break, you can continue uphill to reach Pointe d'Arvouin, culminating at 2019m, or down. After having taken advantage of the lake, you will descend by the chalets of Arvouin, then the pastures of the house. The finish is at the top of the gondola of the Panthiaz.
